WE had to buy new sinkers and lags to affix to our brick stairs because the ones in the kit were not holding well. The finished railing was very nice, the handrail is sturdy and it looks great on the front porch.

I was able to assemble the rail without much trouble, even though the plastic bag with small parts had opened during shipment. I did not have any missing hardware items. A very crucial bit of information was not provided, the concrete anchor drill size. In reading the reviews some had suggested a 3/8" drill, which would be too small, and others suggest a 1/2" drill, which would be too big. I followed theadvice of a reviewer and bought a set of 3/8" concrete anchors and the required 3/8" drill. I did need to ream out the base plate holes to 1/2" to accommodate the larger studs. I had noticed the fine print in the instruction sheet regarding NOT tightening completely all other fasteners until after the base plates were tight. This is a very important point The final result is a sturdy and nice looking stair rail.

Handrail is very solid and sturdy, and works well. Assembly of the handrail is fairly easy. Everything is bolted together with an Allan wrench. The only negative is that there were no instructions in how to install the concrete fasteners into the concrete and bolt the handrail into place. I ended up googling or u tubing a video, and used a 3/8 inch masonry drill bit, and took a little longer than expected to install. It would have been better if they had their own u tube video. Overall, the handrail looks good and gives safety to the steps.

Easy to install with a hammer drill and 1/2 in extended drill bit.

This appears to be a good, sturdy handrail, but like many reviewers have noted, there are no installation instructions included. My package was also missing some hardware and four parts. The missing parts are to cover the bolts on both anchors, so not the worst thing. The missing hardware (some bolts and nuts) I had to purchase myself. Since you'll have to figure out most of it by yourself you'll need to be pretty handy. Also, don't expect any customer service from the seller. My interaction with them was much less than pleasant. They are "get the money and done."

The shipping was fast. Very impressed. Then I opened the box. The small parts bag was ripped in multiple places, and the small parts were all over the inside of the box, and inside some of the Handrail parts. The other small plastic bag was also crushed, so some of the metal pieces were bent. Corrected in my shop with multiple tools. The directions were crumpled and used as packing. The thin paper was ripped, and pieces were missing. Not sure is this is a standard affair or just a one off with careless packing. The directions are pictures only with no dimensions. I measured the diameter of the concrete fasteners, which was 1/2 inch. So I drilled 1/2 inch holes into my brick porch. I should have drilled one or two sizes smaller because the drilled holes were too large for the fasteners to expand and tighten. Ended up putting a few wraps of good old fashion duct tape on the fasteners. Issue solved. The actual installation went well. Handrail was anchored firmly. Thats when I noticed a large chip out of the top railing. Used some touch-up paint. I was very disappointed in the fact the there is no way to contact the seller or manufacturer. No phone, no email. You are on your own. For the price one would think you would have a way to contact customer service. So much for the name "Happybuy" but maybe this is meant for the ones who have my money!! :-) My wife is happy with the outcome, so in the end I am happy.
