Decent machine - price point is irresistable. Wish it had the 1/2 speed gear reducer. Plenty of power. If you ever owned an old Craftsman/Atlas lathe, you will be right at home. 100mm 4 jaw chuck and other accessories are well made. Mill attachment needs expert file fit, but is of good quality. Faceplate comes from "LittleMachineShop.com", and is apparently a Vevor oversight. When it wears out, a very long time from now, I will get a bigger one.

Quoted elivery times are all lies, Hunter Express are a joke. Unit went on special the week after i paid 1040. I was very cranky and extremely demanding of the sales person. Sales team memeber maintained a professional attitude but did keep asking me to be patient which made me even more cranky with this whole purchase. Sales team gave me a great refund after the delivery so in the end I was happier. The unit itself is a great unit, i dont know anything about lathes but i turned out my first project and am very happy with the outcome. Im still working on some rigidity issue, mostly due to the cross slide i believe. I will never buy from Vevor again though, cant handle being lied to and the delivery agent they use need to become insolvent, they dont deserve to be in the business of delivering goods given they were weeks past the due dates, grrrr

Macchina che vale il suo prezzo, tutta da regolare e modificare per poterla far funzionare in modo corretto, ma per piccoli lavori su metalli morbidi perfetta e ben fatta. Ho avuto problemi con la spedizione, infatti sono serviti 40 giorni per riceverlo, ma per problemi legati al corriere Servizio clienti buono e abbastanza tempestivo nelle risposte

Came as ordered. No surprises. Handy small size,with all the required features that will be put to use.

The tooling that came with the lathe will not start a cut but luckily I had bought some indexable tooling to get started. The tool post is very wobbly and there was an oiler check valve broke off the feed screw. It is a bit expensive for such low quality but it is also just a Chinese mini lathe

Have been unable to even use it for a hour straight alfter about 3 hours of use belt broke and support is no good ive had it for almost 3 weeks and been unable to even return it as they gave me $105 refund from a $1045 item that im left with that is basically useless

I wanna start off with, it’s a good cheap mini lathe. Don’t expect heavy duty, it’s cheap.. I’m rating it as an overall 3 star, to me $800 is a little on the expensive side although it’s still a decent machine and will get things done as needed. my biggest concern is when I opened the box the plastic tool box it came with was opened and damaged. Lid broke off and parts everywhere including the tiny bolts and nuts for the protector guard (as seen in photos) which I can only find 3 out of 4 with no nuts which is pretty disappointing and kind of worry some for how this has been handled during shipping. Will update if I can later down the road as I use it more often.

Customer support is crappy. They do not wanna stand behind there product keep asking for pictures but there's no good way to show them there not true with each other. So $500 wasted
