Sehr schlecht es liegt nur eine Produktbeschreibung bei allerdings nur auf Englisch ich hätte gern mit der Maschine gearbeitet und eine Bedienungsanleitung wäre da sehr hilfreich die Firma Vevor hat angeboten sich darum zu kümmern danke im voraus bis dahin werde ich den Arbeitsplatz um die Maschine herum gestalten.MfG Helmut Kümpfel

This mini lathe has been a great addition to my shop. I’ve used it quite a bit and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s not perfect. It’s not gonna be like a $10,000 machine, but it is functional for a small workshop plan on disassembling and cleaning and getting burrs off of all the pieces, but it can be tightened up. Unable to mill plastics, aluminum and steel with this unit it will take some practice to get used to it. Very good value for the money. packaged well they arrived with no damage.

I ordered on Friday and it arrived 1 day early on Wed. The crate was in great shape and the Lathe was undamaged. All the parts and accessories were as advertised (a rare thing now a days), I was expecting a lot more clean up and adjusting/tweaking from all the video's and forum posts online. Right of the box there was very little cleaning and adjusting needed. Tailstock was good, cross slide was adjusted properly and the only adjustment I made was to loosen the compound gib screws an 1/8 of a turn and then deburred the tool post a little. It's whole lot nicer than I was lead to believe it would be. I was up running and making chips in about 2 hours after UPS dropped off. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

I love this little lathe. It is a benchtop lathe, so there is a definite limit to what can be accomplished with it. The passthrough of the chuck will limit the size of the material both in diameter and length, but it works really well on smaller projects (which is what it is designed for). I've done external and internal milling of material as well as some boring operations. Once I got everything aligned, which you will have to do upon initial setup, it has been great. I bought the set that included the metal gears. I have not installed the metal gears yet and have been using the installed plastic ones. When the operation gets a bit restricted, by depth or hardness of the material, I have found that the plastic gears will slip and grind. I plan on swapping in the metal gears soon. I have purchased other Vevor lathe tools to experiment with the various operations. I've turned mild steel round stock, tube steel, aluminum, hardened steel (very difficult with the plastic gears) and Delrin. I've found that it performs well on nearly everything that I've tried thus far. Their is a little movement in some of the parts and if you try to tighten it up too much, it restricts the movement of the tooling. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase for my uses so far. I plan on installing the steel gears and my Vevor, 4 jaw chuck to play around with some other operations.

For someone who wants to rekindle his passion for wood/metal turning, this lathe is an excellent first step. From the size perspective, it will meet most of your hobby tasks or smaller items if needed to be fabricated around the house. Its swing of 7" (total diameter of a material you can use) is more than sufficient unless you are planning on doing some business doing bigger parts, at which point this would not suffice. You can literally start using it out of the box (or in this case, out of the crate). However, do not expect great accuracy at this moment. Some things I have experienced from the get go: 1. Whatever you turn will be off between the two ends of the material you are working on (taper). The longer the item (the maximum about 12 inches if you include the tail stock) the bigger the taper will be. I've seen some videos of people disassembling entire unit and re-assembling it to get the best tolerances they can, but if you spend this much time, effort, and in many cases fabrication of new parts, why don't you just buy a more expensive lathe that will come with those concerns addressed? Isn't it a wash in price? But that's just me. 2. The two points between the head stock and the tail stock have to be calibrated. Out of the box, it's really not there. 3. The cutters provided with the unit are more than adequate for the beginner. 4. The turret is also sufficient. So in my case, after about 5 days of light use (I mostly turn wood), the motor gave up. There was a puff, my breaker went off and that was it. After resetting the breaker and changing the fuse on the lathe, still no go. The motor is gone. So, I am invoking my 30 day return policy. I hope there is no issue because I plan on getting it again (if not a bit more expensive lathe for the reasons I mentioned above). I hope that Vevor comes through

This lathe has been a lot of fun to use. I am very happy with the operation. I will mostly be doing aluminum and brass but I found it works well with wood.

Good product but owners manual is not up to date with all features. Had a difficult time determining how to work movement of tread tool

Bonjour , suite a mon achat il y a plus d'un moi je vous rend compte de la fonc tionnalite de la machine , en tant qu'ancien professionnel .Pour les matieres acceptables fonte; bronze; ertalon ; bois; acier prendre des petites passes broutage et outil qui a tendence a brouter au tronçonnage meme en resserant les lardons l'outil plonge ce qui bloque le mandrin , le chariot superieur ne s'oriente pas donc pas possible de faire un cone ,au niveau vernier cote a diviser par deux pour diametre mais assez precis ,pour la poupee mobile ça va pas de problemes le systeme de blocage est suffisant , pour l'avance automatique j'ai trouve le bon rapport pignons par rapport a la vitesse pour l'outillage j' ai affuté les bons angles de coupe a rafraichir de temps en temps le mieux c'est a plaquette rapportée pour la chauffe en coupe bien sur, pas trop deçu dans l'ensemble c'est une petite machine pour les diametres 45 et plus varier avesc la vitesse pour eviter le broutage en coupe prendre des petites passes pour ne pas gener la force de coupe en usinage . il tornio fa rumore e si muove a scatti rendendo impossibile la tornitura del pezzo. ho contattato piu volte l assistenza ma non ho avuto la soluzione al problema. VOGLIO RESTITUIRE il tornio e cambiarlo con uno funzionante

Ancora nn e arrivato quindi nn posso dire nulla... Finalmente è arrivato... 😁😁😁 Posso dire che era imbalato perfettamente... Resta solo di montarlo e farlo funzionare peccato che la contro punta nn si può montare il mandrino per fare fori con le punte eicoidali.. Oggi lo usato per la prima volta con l esattezza sto realizzando delle boccole.. E mi sono ritrovato utilizandolo per ridurre la sezione del ferro tondo ho riscontrato una dimenticanza se ne uscirà sull asse del motore la puleggia di plastica dove manca la vite di blocco per nn far uscrla fuori sede.... Snontato il carterino dietro scollegati i fili per il sensore del coperchio del mandrino ho sistemato il tutto trovando una vite montando la puleggia o richiuso tutto mi sono messo di nuovo all opera ... Adesso mi ritrovo creare il foro interno alla boccola Con utensile e noto che la punta Dell utensile è più bassa del centro creato con la contro punta.... Perché manca lo spessore per la trooretta porta utensili per far trovare l utensile in altezza con l sasse del centro con il pezzo da tornire?
