I ordered a “Used - Like New” unit. As someone who’s done old-school machining of stainless steel, I can say it’s very well made. If the polymer bushing and wooden handle hold out, with a little care (basically, cleaning and drying it off after each use) this juicer should still be serviceable in a hundred years. It juiced wheatgrass well, leaving little juice in the pulp.Usage Note:If you’ll be clamping it to a counter edge that’s slick (e.g., polished marble or Formica) you’ll want to tighten the clamp very well AND use your free hand to encourage the body to sit still so the clamp doesn’t slip- at least for the first few harder turns of the crank- after adding each handful of wheatgrass.Cleaning:Note that the cone at the end (which you’ll have to remove to disassemble the unit for cleaning) has a left-handed thread, so you’ll have to turn it clockwise to loosen it and clean the unit. The screen inside may be a little harder to remove the first time but I find it got easier over the first few uses, making disassembly very quick. I also find it’s a little easier to replace the screen if I pinch the edges a tiny bit as I line it up with the “tracks” on the inside of the units as I start to slide it back in.Now that I’m used to it, I can disassemble and wash mine in about thrity seconds after I’m done juicing (extracting an ounce takes me about two minutes), and it takes me about another twenty seconds to reassemble and clamp the unit somewhere out of the way after I dry it off.… very happy with this purchase.
