Better than cast iron. Not as good as a high end Anvil, but that is not what you are paying for. I would have no problem recommending this Anvil for other hobbyists.

Got this guy an a clearance sale. Wasn't exactly what I expected but I knew going into it that I would have to do a little work to it. The anvil is great but the horn needed some work before I could use it. I expected to grind off the paint on the horn and make it smooth but as I was grinding it revealed some minor casting issues(surface cracks). I ended up just grinding a little more than I expected. It cleaned up completely. I also expected the horn to be more round, less egg shaped. I did what I could to round it out better and in the end it worked out because I was cleaning the surface cracks out anyway. This is a good anvil that will just need a little finishing work to make it a great anvil. Expected to grind the horn clean. That being said don't let that stop you from this deal.

For such a low price of an anvil it was in excellent quality, very satisfied! Will be buying more products from now on!

Can't beat it for the price. the horn will need some dressing to smooth out some cast marks, but it's hard, has good rebound and is unbeatable for the price.

Did not use it as but it was friggin weighty. I’m sure if you’re interested you’d be pleased! I returned it cuz I gave up on a planned project.

Il n'y a pas de doute, c'est une bonne enclume. Je forge en amateur depuis quelques temps déjà, et très franchement, j'aurais aimé trouvé cette enclume plus tôt. Vous avez là une enclume de qualité pour un prix très correct. Pas la peine d'acheter une vieille enclume que vous allez payer 300€ sur les sites de petites annonces, achetez cette enclume, elle fera largement le job. Quelques soucis à la livraison avec La Poste, mais le service client Vevor a été réactif et efficace. Je ne connaissais pas ce site, maintenant il est dans mes favoris. Merci beaucoup! Sébastien M.

Very fine anvils - need a little cleanup if you care about the sprue-marks on the sides and/or don't like blue paint (I do & don't, respectively. Very high quality & durable - I teach blacksmithing and teenage-boys hit with more enthusiasm than skill, but no-problem!
