I bought the Vevor 1x30 belt sander to replace my old HF cheap sander. Night and day difference in quality and outcome of sharpening. The variable speed makes a huge difference. The open frame design allows me to get more range of motion for sharpening odd implements. I have been using it for 2 months now and believe it to be of excellent quality. If you want a variable speed sander, this model from Vevor is an excellent choice.

I was more than pleased, did not realize it came with all the attachments,it runs very smooth and looks fantastic,it is a well built machine and can be used buy any knifemaker.

You buy decent hardware at a discount because setting it up and adjusting it requires some care. The instructions are not helpful, but experience with mechanical things might be. All the parts were in order and packed well. It arrived in good time, earlier than expected, which was great. I had to take the motor out and tighten the bolts to the motor mount, which were loose and wobbled when operated - and can't be adjusted with the motor in place. Once I fixed that wobble, the belt tracked much better and had a good enough adjustment knob to tune the belt track. Otherwise, it is as advertised. Good value for the hardware. Would buy again.

Have had my eye on one of these for several years. As most of the ones I have seen the prices were $2,500-$3,500. Much more than I could really justify. Then I saw this Vevor belt grinder being listed for ~$1,000. When it went on sale, I decided to take the plunge. Was surprised that it was shipping from a location here in the US. It arrived in about 4-6 days and was packed well and everything seemed in good order. It comes with a 120VAC to 220VAC transformer and it works well. I will be wiring the VFD directly to 220, so the transformer is just a bonus and I'll keep that for some other devices that will make it nice to have. As far as the grinder goes it was easy to assemble and runs very smooth. Love the ability to control the speed. For finer work it's really nice to run at slower speeds. Full speed is a bit scarry as this thing really moves and will remove a lot of material on the more course belts. I did the 72" mod and that works well as I can find 72" belts easier. I will be adding a longer cable from the VFD to motor, so I can locate the VFD far enough away from the grinder as not to fill up with metal grindings. All in all, I love this machine and it looks like it will perform for many years.

I recently purchased this 2x72 vevor grinder It is a very versatile set up for making blades it comes well tooled and I think it would work well in any fabrication shop I purchased a 2x82 vevor grinder a few years ago and it is still a vital part in my hobby This grinder takes 2x72 belts without any modifications I am very happy with my purchase Also the seller provided excellent service Thank you for reading my review

Hello I purchased this vevor 2x72 grinder to use in a hobby knife making shop and I am extremely pleased it is well built , comes with all the accessories that I require and has a quiet variable speed motor which is required in my shop The price point is unmatched in my opinion and has a great value I have a separate vevor grinder purchased several years ago and it is still going strong too this day I am a very pleased customer Thank you for reading my review

This grinder is great! I would have never been able to afford one of the other brand belt grinders and this does everything I need. Very happy with the power of the motor and the attachments it comes with. Would definitely recommend.
