Works well. Definitely worth the money. Works better on straight lines. Would like it more if the case opened wider

Needed a camera for my new business, does everything it needs to for a fraction of other cameras. Don't see any reason id go buy an expensive one from say a red and black company for over $10k. Clear image does its job, haven't got to use the locator yet heard some bad reviews about it, even if its garbage the camera works great and you can go buy a different locator that will work with the cameras signal.

1. You can tell that whoever wrote instructions does not understand English very well. 2. Unit initially did not want to power on. It did not power on until I charged it for a few minutes. Then it powered on and has been through multiple on/off cycles without issue. 3. Unit did not want to format SD card that came with it. I swapped out SD cards to a San Disk 16gig Ultra card full size card and problem solved. I can now record video and take pictures with out issue. 4. Buttons/menu are a bit weird at first, but easy enough to learn to use by playing with unit for a few minutes. 5. Camera seems okay inside garage. It should work for what I need. 6. Don’t expect to have this up and going right out of the box unless you’ve had one before. This is my first drain cam, so a slight learning curve for me. 7. Decent cases with unit and receiver. Very well packaged. Fixing to put it in sewer line and hopefully find my issue. I’ll update afterwards. Update: 11pm: Camera worked well. Fairly decent picture quality. Camera is not self leveling but the the rotation on menu screen helps. I would use the little black adapter all the time to keep camera elevated just above water flow. Be careful of tiny screws in adapters. My unit has 100’ of 5mm blue cable. I don’t know if I could push it 100’, but a also have a 45 degree turn I’m pushing through. I feel you definitely could push all 100’ of cable with roller adapter. I might opt for 7mm yellow cable if I were to buy it again with time/money to spare. It did it’s job and showed a complete separation of joint, which is not what I wanted to see, but what I needed to see. For the money, I’m happy with the camera. Update: Locator was dead on through four inches of concrete, rebar and another foot below ground. Couldn’t be happier with unit!

camera was able to go about 70 feet before we could not push any more. was able to see well and find out how things ran out of the building. We were also able to verify no broken pipes. Transducer was very hard to locate, I had to get a video to make sure I was not making a mistake. Not very confident on location of pipe. Overall camera was great, and transducer was very hard to locate.

I was worried that this tool would not work good for my application but was surprised and very satisfied! Great buy for the average home owner and even for the contractor.
