Great little vice for the mill

Super value for the money. Jaws came ground dead even, surface finishes on exposed surfaces was mostly immaculate. Seems to be accurate in all the important dimensions. There was a fair bit of grit in the mechanism and a very rough finish on the lead screw and nut. I chucked the lead screw in the lathe and ran a file over it to clean the burrs up, and did similar with the nut. Once cleaned up it moves very smoothly. retaining nut on the lead screw locks in place with a grub screw, directly onto the threads (!!) I was able to get it off, but this isn't a great design. A thrust bearing would have been a nice touch too, but what's here works. Overall very worth the money, and a great tool once it's had a cursory cleanup

appears to good quality and well finished for the price. To be fair I've only just unpacked it and not used it yet

Good value for the money

Great vise for the Clarke CMD300 mini mill (all versions of the sieg X2 mini mill). You can use it with and without the rotating base. Removable jaws. Good price too.

Jestem zadowolony z tego zakupu. Jakość tego imadla jest super. Dobrze wykończone, umiarkowanie rowne, w tych pieniądzach nic lepszego nie dostaniesz. Polecam wszystkim hobbystom.
