This grinder is a beast especially for the price. I have had no problems with it and it converts relatively easily to 2x72. No problems with it tripping brakers. If you know a machinist you can make a few modification and It will be superb. The funny thing is that it was delivered by an 18 wheeler and I live in a suburb. Will recommend it all day every day.

Description of tool was lacking. Only bought after reading reviews that described unit details. Mine came with a 110 to 220v transformer with a standard 3 prong US plug and the inverter was wired 220 to plug in to the transformer. Heavyweight construction all solid bar stock and plate. Not shown was the separate 3 piece bar stock attachments for quick change outs. Unit tracks well out of the box all attachments easy to track with the track adjustment. I figured I could easily modify to accept 72” belts but it was as easy as pulling the hinge pin on the idler pulley flip upside down, replace the pin and go. Has plenty of power to hog through truck spring steel with 60 grit belt. Flat platen has graphite impregnated pad. Small rubber wheels had considerable bearing heat build up so I would only run when shaping with them. Don’t have a tachometer but fully adjustable speed from 0 to ??? Fast.Only flaw so far. One of the 3 phase motor lugs at the inverter, they missed the wire in the crimp. Easy fix for me I noticed and had a new lug and crimper.

This machine was created in such a way you would need power tools to uncrate it. I like the grinder once I got it out of the box!

Shipped earlier than expected, arrived in a crate and required minimal assembly. Easily modified to accept 72x2 belts buy flipping the tracking wheel and removing a couple spacer washers to line up properly. Great buy for the price. Would run even better if I switched to 220V vice using the included inverter. Works great and saves time as compared to my old 36x4.

I have only had this machine for a short time. It was purchased to shape knives. So far the machine has been GREAT. The attachments are definitely an added plus. Great machine for the price.

This product is a great buy for the price. I did have to adjust the motor to get it to track straight but was not difficult to do. I also drilled a hole on the bottom of the tracking wheel bracket and I am using 2x72 belts with it. All things considered I think it's a good buy for a cheaper grinder
