230v supply to this device needs to be supplied through a mains breaker with a slow response time. B20 Amp breaker normallu fitted to mains curcuits in Irl/UK trips. I fitted a D16 Amp breaker to my power switch board and the Spot Welder operates perfectly without tripping the mains. The spot welds on two sheets of 1.5mm mild steel were great. Its a robust well built and robustly built device.
