F1: How do solar pool heaters work?
A1: 1. Use the pool pump to automatically pump water into the solar heaters.
2. The heating devices heat the water as it flows through them.
3. The heated water is returned to the pool via a hose.

Q2: How effective are solar pool heaters?

A2: Proper sizing and correct installation will increase the pool temperature by 10°F. Simply circulate the water through the solar heater when the sun is shining. On cloudy or rainy days, the solar heater will heat the water less effectively. After one or two days of warm weather, the water temperature will return to normal.


Q3: Where can I install the solar heating systems?
A3: At least 6 hours of full sunlight per day. The longer the solar heaters are exposed to sunlight, the more effective they are. If mounted at a different angle (e.g., on a roof or shelf), they should face south.
