According to the manual, you can attach the mount to the surface of a wooden beam or a solid concrete/brick ceiling. During installation, ensure the holes are aligned and there is sufficient clearance between the screen and the ceiling.

With a stroke of 30.3 inches (77 cm), you can easily adjust the height within a range of 5.1 to 35.4 inches (13-90 cm) to find the optimal viewing height.
