- Adjustable safety brackets: The safety brackets can be adjusted from 8.6 to 12.2 inches to ensure a better fit for various sizes of coil springs. The threaded rods on both sides remain as parallel as possible during compression, with appropriate spacing. This coil spring compressor prevents spring rebound due to uneven tilting, resulting in a smoother and safer compression process.
- Secure locking ring: A safety locking ring is attached to the jaw of the clamp, ensuring a firm and secure attachment to the spring without the possibility of easy loosening. This improvement increases safety and prevents any worrying moments during the compression process.
- Increased hardness: The spring compressor is made of high-hardness #45 steel, which has been heat-treated to form a thick and integral structure, ensuring that the compressor is extremely resistant to deformation and breakage. Furthermore, the clamps have been forged and coated with a layer of corrosion-resistant nickel to prevent corrosion and rust.
- Compatible with 3/4-inch sockets: The compression stroke is 11 inches / 280 mm. You can use a socket wrench to compress the hex bolt at the bottom of the threaded rod. Note: 1. Apply grease to the threaded rod before use. 2. Compress and release the spring alternately on both sides to maintain an even compression length. 3. Use both hands while compressing; impact wrenches are not recommended.
