I bought this to cut bread and cheese for sandwiches. it does this as well as cut consistent vegetables. It is so much more than that. Having a small simple slicer on the counter is terrific. Anything I want can be easily sliced.
As is usual for Vevor, the quality is excellent as are the fit and finish. For the small amount of cleanup needed at the end of use, you will not find a better value than this slicer

Nana J Great sourdough bread slicer
I have only had this bread slicer for a few weeks but so far I love it. I make sourdough bread and the slicer goes through the bread easily and gives consistent size slices. My only worry is when the blade gets dull as I don't see any way to buy replacement blades and there is no mention of being able to sharpen the blade.
