The Mercury throttle control for boats is more robust and can withstand multiple push-pull maneuvers.
- Smooth operation: Press the neutral release button to engage a gear, push forward to go forward, and push backward to go in reverse. The friction adjustment knob at the front end provides individual control over the throttle actuation, allowing you to precisely control speed and thrust. Additionally, the boat throttle control features a cold-start air-oil ratio adjustment function, ensuring reliable operation in extreme temperatures.
- Trim and tilt switch: Enhance your boating experience with the electric trim and tilt switch located directly on the control lever handle. This design allows for easy adjustment of the outboard motor's position, facilitates loading and unloading cargo, and prevents prolonged engine submersion. Easily raise and lower your motor with our throttle control box.
- Emergency Stop Switch Tab: Our throttle control box for outboard motors features an emergency stop switch tab. This tab automatically stops the engine if the rider unexpectedly shifts their position, preventing accidents. For added safety, the tab can be securely attached to the rider's waistband or wrist.
- 497 cm Control Cable: Our remote control box features a 16.3 ft / 4970 mm long wiring harness with an 8-pin and a 4-pin connector. It also includes a 9.4 in / 240 mm long cable with a 5-pin connector and a 4-pin meter connection, providing ample range for remote power supply setups. These harnesses are constructed from durable thermoplastic insulation and are built to last. During installation, turn off the ignition, remove the key, and disconnect all cables and the power supply.

If your Mercury PT boat (2-stroke) is experiencing problems with a stuck throttle, an unresponsive throttle, or even a faulty controller, then you need our throttle control box for boats, which can withstand multiple push-pull maneuvers.
Turning the throttle friction adjustment knob on the remote control box counterclockwise loosens the control lever and allows it to be tightened accordingly for a smoother driving experience.
The control lever is equipped with a reliable trim switch, the key cannot be easily damaged, and raising and lowering the tilt of the outboard motor can be carried out effectively.
Prevent accidents if the driver accidentally falls into the sea or leaves the tiller while the yacht is moving.
When installing the outboard remote control box, the engine must be switched off and the power supply disconnected. Installation must be carried out on a stable surface with a thickness of ≥ 6.3 mm.
