These were purchased two weeks ago. The boat is an open 5.5 metre open heavy duty aluminum boat. It is a work boat that is used daily and is pulled from the water numerous times some days. There was a cross wind at the ramp gusting to 70kph. Needless to say the left side guide did not fair too well. I was able to put the brackets in a vise to straighten it enough so it is functional again.
The product is by no means poorly made and did do it’s best to guide the boat in straight, without them the boat would never have been loaded that day. I’m considering purchasing another set and gang up 6 brackets on the left and put the two damaged ones on the right.
