- Sandspike boat anchor: Our sandspike boat anchor features a self-hammering structure that quickly penetrates soft and hard sand, securing boats or pontoons effortlessly and without additional aids.
- Long spike, secure anchoring: The 38.8 inch (985 mm) long spike with a lower part of 21.6 inch (550 mm) provides a strong and stable hold and weighs 9.5 lbs (4.3 kg) for deep penetration into shallow water without rocks, mud or aquatic vegetation.
- Wide compatibility, secure hold: Our marine anchor mooring spike easily attaches to a variety of boats. It features two convenient attachment loops for simple knotting with dock lines or boat ropes. Choose between a loop at the top of the handle or a loop on the side to secure your boat, motorboat, lifeboat, or rowboat.
- Suitable for saltwater: Our self-hammering sand anchor is made of high-strength, galvanized carbon steel (Q235A) and is corrosion-resistant to seawater. The zinc coating on the solid carbon steel provides effective corrosion protection and ensures durability and impact resistance in both river and saltwater. It is suitable for use in both fresh and saltwater.
- Protection through storage bag: Included in the delivery is a robust storage bag made of Oxford fabric, which protects the sandspike anchor from damage. The storage bag protects the anchor from self-drilled holes and provides security for you and other items stored inside.

Mr
Great. Secures my boat when launching from the sand. I also use it when pulled up to sandbars at low tide and need to get out of the boat.

Better Than Anchoring with a Rock
I look forward to using the VEVOR Sand Anchor for our 13-foot aluminum boat. We love camping and fishing, and we often secure a camping spot along the water, allowing us to moor our little boat at the shoreline, usually using a rock or a tree limb. The VEVOR Sand Anchor is easy enough to knock into the ground (I used clay soil) but requires some effort to remove. Suitable ground would be sandy or muddy, but a rocky landing wouldn't work. Our little boat has little room, so I appreciate its compact size. The Oxford storage bag is a nice addition. Full disclosure, I received this product for free from the Vine program. However, I want to emphasize that I did not receive any payment for this review. It's also important to note that I pay 29% in federal and state income taxes for each item. I apologize for not including any pictures in this review, as my genetic condition causes my hands to shake.

Stout pole anchor with an integrated slide hammer
This anchor is basically a piece of heavy gauge angle iron cut into to a spear with a pointed end. The other end has a metal loop for tying or clipping a rope on and a solid pole that acts as a center guide for a slide hammer. There is a heavy handle that serves as the slide hammer and a bungie cord to keep the two sections together when you are not using the slide hammer. There is not much to go wrong here. I don't see it getting bent unless you left the slide hammer extended and tied off to the top of that for maximum boat leverage on the shaft. Short of that or using it to tie up a barge, rusting away in 40 years seems to be the most likely failure mode. That is to say, it's a heavy-duty, thick piece of iron. The welds are not gorgeous, but appear more than adequate strength wise. The whole thing appears to be coated (probably dipped) in a silver paint.
