This band saw is giving me the fastest, straightest cuts I've every made on bar stock in my small machine shop. No more worries about drifting cuts and prematurely worn blades. The vise is another high point here: it is a manual hand crank but it is very easy to get enough clamping force on the workpiece. The only thing I would change about this product is for it to have larger diameter wheels and swivel casters, which I plan to install myself. The wheels it comes with have trouble with making it over small bumps due to how heavy the saw is, but it's not a big enough gripe to remove a full star from the review. Larger diameter wheels would bring it a few inches higher, which will make using the saw a bit easier on my back. I currently have to lean over a bit to use it.

Horizontal Band Saw Non-Rotating Base
Amazing and compact band saw with truly affordable price. Getting lots of use in my hobby garage for cutting metal pieces for welding. To add stability I removed included wheels and built sturdy frame under it with adjustable feet. All functions work perfectly, very easy to set up and precisely adjusted already in factory. Coolant system is simple and reliable. All of my cuts are made using emulsion. Saw frame construction is solid, base is sheet metal and with good quality for the price. Couldn't imagine better saw for the price paid. Highly recommended for hobby and light workshop use.

Very happy with this bandsaw! The construction is solid, it doesn’t vibrate much, and adjusting the blade is simple enough. I’ve cut everything from angle iron to solid bar and it handled it all with ease. Definitely recommend getting a better blade though – the stock one’s just alright.
